PNG to SVG for Cricut Design Space
Drop your image. Get an SVG that opens in Design Space at the size you set, one layer per colour, with the background gone.
Opens at your size
Set the width in inches before you download. The SVG carries that size, so Design Space doesn't guess.
One layer per colour
Each colour is its own layer, ready for its own vinyl. No blurry outline layer to delete first.
Print Then Cut ready
Add a cut line under Adjust, then Flatten it in Design Space for a printed sticker at your size. A 300 dpi PNG is there too.
Too small to cut? We say so
Pieces under 1/32 in at your size are flagged, with the width that makes them cuttable.

Open it in Design Space
- Download the SVG.
- In Design Space, choose Upload, then Upload Image, and pick the file.
- Choose Continue, then Upload. It lands on the canvas at your size, each colour its own layer.
Why do some SVGs come in black?
Design Space ignores colours set in a style sheet inside the file, which many design programs write. Ours set each colour directly, so they keep their colours. To see why another file comes in black, use the SVG checker.
Why is my PNG twice the size?
Design Space opens every PNG at 144 pixels per inch, whatever the file says, so our 300 dpi PNG comes in about twice as wide. Type your width under Size after you add it, or use the SVG, which opens at your size.
